SHONIN PARK opened in July 2025.

Is internet access available?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout SHONIN PARK.

Is there a large public bath on-site?

Yes, a large bath is available inside Sand SPA (Beppu Beach Sand Bath).
Please refer to the Sand SPA page for details.

Are there elevators in the facility?

No, SHONIN PARK does not have elevators.

Can I use the restaurant only?

Yes, Grill Takka is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Reservations are not required but are recommended during busy periods. Please use the restaurant reservation system.

Can I bring pets?

Pets are allowed in most areas, except for ISHINOYA Beppu, Grill Takka, Sand SPA, and the shops.

Can I use just the park area?

Yes, you are welcome to enjoy the park area only.

Do you have smoking areas?

Smoking is generally prohibited throughout the facility, but two designated smoking areas are available.
Please use the designated areas when smoking.

Same-day use is possible, but reservations are recommended as there may be a wait.

How do I use the sand bath?

Are towels available for the sand bath?

Yes, we have towels available.
They are free to rent, so please feel free to use them.

Can I use only the sand bath?

Yes, it is available.

What are the sand bath’s opening hours?

Sand SPA is open from 8:00 to 22:00 (last entry at 21:00).

What are the check-in and check-out times?

We basically follow the schedule below.

Check-in:
15:00–19:00 (with dinner)
15:00–22:00 (without dinner)

Check-out:
8:00–11:00

Where do I check in and check out?

The front desk is located at the SHONIN PARK reception.
Please come to the reception desk.

Can I check in early?

Early check-in before 15:00 is not available.
However, we can store your luggage and vehicle—please ask at the front desk.

Late check-out may incur an additional fee. Please contact us for details.

Can I store luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, we can hold your luggage at the front desk.
