SHONIN PARK Terms of Use

Guests using our facilities are required to comply with the following rules. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry or use of the facilities.

Prohibited Activities:
(1) Making loud noises or causing disturbances.
(2) Disposing of trash outside designated areas.
(3) Any behavior that disturbs or offends nearby residents.
(4) Bringing the following items:

  • Items emitting strong odors
  • Excessively large quantities of personal belongings
  • Flammable or explosive materials such as gunpowder or gasoline
  • Unauthorized firearms or blades
  • Illegal drugs including marijuana, narcotics, stimulants, etc.

(5) Gambling or engaging in immoral behavior.
(6) Allowing unauthorized guests into the facility.
(7) Moving, removing, or misusing equipment and furnishings.
(8) Using the facility while intoxicated.
(9) Any behavior contrary to public order and morals.
(10) Individuals or groups associated with anti-social organizations.
(11) Posting advertisements without prior approval.
(12) Taking photos or videos for commercial use without prior approval.
(13) Using air guns, gliders, drones, remote-controlled toys, or other items that may disturb or endanger others.
(14) Staying overnight outside of designated lodging facilities.
(15) Feeding wild cats or pigeons.
(16) Damaging park facilities or plant life.

Additional Notes:

  • Please refrain from noise, vibrations, odors, or other disturbances at any time of day. You may be asked to leave immediately if your actions negatively impact neighboring residents.
  • Guests will be held responsible for any damage to facilities or property caused intentionally or through negligence.
  • Guests are responsible for managing any food or drinks they bring. SHONIN PARK assumes no responsibility for food poisoning.

ISHINOYA Beppu Terms of Use

Guests staying at ISHINOYA Beppu are required to comply with the following rules in accordance with our accommodation agreement.

Prohibited Activities:
(1) Use of fire or dangerous items that may cause fire.
(2) Smoking outside of designated areas.
(3) Any behavior that disturbs or offends nearby residents.
(4) Bringing the following items:

  • Animals or birds (excluding guide dogs)
  • Items emitting strong odors
  • Excessively large quantities of personal belongings
  • Flammable or explosive materials such as gunpowder or gasoline
  • Unauthorized firearms or blades
  • Illegal drugs including marijuana, narcotics, stimulants, etc.

(5) Gambling or engaging in immoral behavior.
(6) Allowing unauthorized guests into the facility.
(7) Moving, removing, or misusing equipment and furnishings.
(8) Using the facility while intoxicated.
(9) Any behavior contrary to public order and morals.
(10) Individuals or groups associated with anti-social organizations.

Sand SPA Terms of Use

Guests using the Sand SPA must comply with the following rules regarding both conduct and health conditions. Those who do not comply or fall under the following health conditions may be denied entry.

(1) Guests advised by a physician to refrain from bathing.
(2) Guests who are feeling unwell.
(3) Guests with any of the following conditions: acute illness, active tuberculosis, malignant tumors, serious heart disease, respiratory failure, bone marrow or kidney failure, bleeding disorders, skin disease, or other progressive conditions.
(4) Guests with pacemakers.
(5) Guests with metal implants such as bolts or screws.
(6) Entering without the designated sand bath yukata provided by the facility.
(7) Ignoring staff instructions.
(8) Bathing while intoxicated.
(9) Bringing the following items:

  • Animals or birds (excluding guide dogs)
  • Items emitting strong odors
  • Excessively large quantities of personal belongings
  • Flammable or explosive materials such as gunpowder or gasoline
  • Unauthorized firearms or blades
  • Illegal drugs including marijuana, narcotics, stimulants, etc.

(10) Any behavior that disturbs or offends other guests.
(11) Moving, removing, or misusing equipment and furnishings.
(12) Any behavior contrary to public order and morals.
(13) Individuals or groups associated with anti-social organizations.

Additional Notes:

  • The facility reserves the right to refuse service if any of the above health conditions are present. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
  • Bathing during menstruation is not recommended due to potential health concerns.
  • By using the facility, guests declare they do not fall under the above health conditions. Use of the facility is at the guest’s own risk, and SHONIN PARK assumes no responsibility for any health issues.
  • Please refrain from noise, vibrations, odors, or other disturbances at any time of day. You may be asked to leave immediately if your actions negatively impact neighboring residents.
  • Guests will be held responsible for any damage to facilities or property caused intentionally or through negligence.
